FIRE SERVICE STRATEGIC PLANNING EFFORT

The Firefighters' Association, along with six other state fire services associations, has for the past 20 months, participated in an effort to develop a long range plan for the Fire Service of our state.  One portion of the effort to develop a strategic plan was to conduct a summit of all fire service personnel to come together and share thoughts about the direction and needs for the states' firefighters.  Please find the below link for the full report of the November planning session held at the Fire Academy.  From this point, the Association will take the lead in ensuring that more discussion and work is done to develop this plan in coordination with the Joint Council and the Strategic Planning Group.
